Session 1: Review of what the college essay is and review of sample essays with strengths and areas of improvement exercise

Session 2: Review essay prompts and brainstorm possible essay topics and writing exercise

Session 3: Choose a topic and mapping out essay structure

Session 4: Write and fine-tune first draft with peer review

Session 5: Completion of first draft with peer review part II

Session 6: Review of real student essays with guided feedback exercise

Session 7: Write and complete of second draft with peer review

Session 8: Final polish and peer editing and review of schools’ required essay topics

 

All the enrolled students will receive a 20% discount for the college application packages at STEM Academy.

Registration and Refund Guidelines

• A non-refundable registration fee $50 will be charged to reserve the spot.
• Class may be cancelled if no more than five students registered in each class.
• The full tuition must be paid off before the class begins.
• Refund must be requested immediately after the first class on the same day.
• Registration fee and tuition for the first class won’t be refunded.
• No refund will be granted after the first day of the class.
• If the class is cancelled by STEM Academy, full tuition plus registration will be refunded.
